Celebrating Mother’s Day- “First Time Mom”.

Hi All,

I know its very late to say this but it’s never too late to do anything you wanted to do so belated “Happy Mother’s day” to everyone out there.

Mother’s Day is the special time of year when you get to celebrate your first best friend and the person you always turn to when you need advice. Mother’s Day is also a great time to show your love for all the other wonderful women in your life.

So this time this year, we celebrated my first Mother’s Day with “GOGO” #Our Little Samaira. A baby girl who brought joy and big smiles to us, to our families, friends. And the fact that Mother’s Day is approaching made me reflect on what this day means personally to me. 

Though i don’t believe in celebrating just a single day but at the same time, it made me remember the struggle of mothers around the world who deserve recognition and a day to celebrate, to receive love from their sons and daughters, a day that makes them feel special.

Being a Mother is such a big job that requires no degree or prior experience, salary and hours non-negotiable, no paid benefits and lifelong tenure, and now i know the real work of motherhood. Yet we are not superwomens and we do make mistakes.

The first year of motherhood is full of many special moments – from milestones like the first smile and wobbly steps, to the bonding and cuddles in between. But it’s also extremely hard work.

Well “Gogo” is 10 months now and will soon turn a year old, so far she is doing great she is achieving her milestones and is loving happy baby. Hopefully she will turnout to be a great human being.

I might be biased, but she’s a pretty special little girl, and I’m blessed to be her Momma.
