So finally the day came when our little princess “Samaira” turned One. The first year of newborn babies is exciting, emotional roller-coaster for new parents. One year on our lives have been filled with so much joy and beautiful memories.
A whole year since that exhausting, challenging and world-changing day when she entered our lives. How amazing it has been to watch her change every day, learning and exploring and discovering. So much development packed into one year.
You’re walking now and so curious about the world around you. I love watching your little brain work as you try to figure out how to shut our bedroom door or how to take an object from one spot and hide it somewhere else. I could sit and watch you all day. For the most part, that is exactly what I do.
We celebrated our baby girl’s first birthday and I can’t believe she is already One. I have no idea where did the time go? We were suppose to go to India but due to the present situation that was not possible, so i wanted to do something special for her at home with our close friends and family so i made a video about her whole one year journey, i asked my family and friends to record a small message for her and send, which came out as an amazing video and now the moment has been captured for life.
On her birthday evening we scheduled a video call with family and friends and had a live “Cake Cutting Ceremony”. It felt like we are all together and looked special and i know this kind of birthday celebration will always be remembered for life.
I wish my baby nothing but happiness from anything and everything you do. May your days be filled with blessings! Happy 1st birthday my princess….I love you and i love how you scream and run to the door when your daddy comes home from work each day. I love all the silly sounds you make, they are the sweetest sounds I have ever heard. I love your toes and your fingers, and watching those fingers wrap themselves around mine. I love your kisses. You’re already making this world a better place. You will always be my baby.
